Micro Plating provides RoHS and REACH-compliant medium and high phosphorus electroless nickel plating services that meet various industry specifications including AMS 2404, AMS 2454, AMS-C-26074, ASTM B733, MIL-C-26074, and MILDTL-32119. With phosphorus concentrations ranging from 6% up to 12%, our electroless plating services can be specifically designed to provide uniform deposits with carefully calculated thicknesses. Our chemical depositing method ensures 100% coverage even in recessed areas, reducing the need for expensive post-plating polishing, or machining.

Proprietary Composite Plating & Coating Solutions
Our proprietary products MicroSlik (Boron Nitride) and MicroLube (PTFE) are REACH and RoHS-compliant solutions that solve numerous challenges for customers. MicroSlik is an electroless nickel deposit enhanced by the homogenous dispersion of hexagonal boron nitride particles that routinely refreshes the surface layer during use. MicroLube is also an electroless nickel composite plating solution that uses the hydrophobic properties of PTFE to solve common problems seen in high-friction applications.

Non-Reflective & Conductive MicroNite Black EN
New to the services offered at Micro Plating is MicroNite black electroless nickel plating, designed to address two primary needs of our customers. First, MicroNite provides an aesthetically pleasing, non-reflective surface with 4–6% light emissivity while also offering electrical conductivity for specialty applications. Second, by layering a low-phosphorus black electroless nickel deposit over an initial high-phosphorus nickel layer, MicroNite significantly enhances corrosion resistance while maintaining excellent wear performance. With its uniform deposit thickness on complex geometries and reliable functional properties, MicroNite is an ideal plating solution for the aerospace, defense, medical, and electrical equipment industries.

Glass bead blasting and baking in an inert atmosphere services are great additions that help maximize the beneficial properties of our electroless nickel plating solutions. Whether deburring metal edges, smoothing surfaces, or carefully hardening plated parts, these value-added services help separate Micro Plating from other electroless nickel plating providers in Erie, PA. We can glass bead any parts before plating and bake any necessary parts in our inert atmosphere oven to add stress relief characteristics to high-strength steel.
