Rigorous Quality Control
Micro Plating’s Quality Program meets the requirements of MIL-I-45208 and is built on a foundation of preventative action rather than problem detection. From the moment we receive an order, our process ensures accuracy and quality. Every part undergoes receiving inspection, followed by the creation of detailed job cards generated from our integrated software. Orders are tracked through a centrally located Kanban system, where our team reviews jobs daily to ensure on-time delivery. The standard lead time is six days, with expedited options available.
Precision is our priority. Throughout processing, parts undergo rigorous in-process and final inspections using precision microscopes, Fischer scopes, and X-ray fluorescence analyzers to verify coating adhesion and thickness. All plating meets or exceeds MIL-C-26074, ASTM B733, AMS2404, or AMS2454 requirements and is ROHS and REACH compliant.
Advanced Process Monitoring
Micro Plating maintains an in-house lab where our chemist ensures all processing solutions—from cleaners and acids to plating chemistry—are maintained to manufacturer specifications. By collecting and analyzing SPC data daily, we detect irregularities before they become problems. Our approach prioritizes continuous improvement and waste reduction, ensuring the highest level of process control.
Proper handling and packaging are essential to protecting finished parts. Whether bulk, cell, or sleeved, all components are packaged to PO requirements to ensure they arrive at our customers’ locations undamaged.
