Located on 2 acres in the Baldwin Business Park in Erie, Pennsylvania, Micro Plating is conveniently accessible from both I-90 and I-79

From I-90 East or West – take exit 24, (Route 19, Waterford, Peach Street) - head south on Rt. 19 (Peach Street) to Oliver Road - turn west onto Oliver Road, travel 7/10 mile and turn right on Hawthorne Drive (Baldwin Business Park).

From I-79 (North or South) – take exit #178A/B onto I-90 heading East. Continue to Exit 24 as above.
At Micro Plating, the office is run with one thing in mind - THE CUSTOMER. Without customers our company is non-existent. Our office personnel are here to assist customers and will do what it takes to satisfy them. Our accounting is computerized with a state-of-the-art software program produced specifically for the plating industry, but our staff is always ready to go beyond the computer capabilities when a customer has special needs or requests.

Although we maintain a progressive computer system, our phone system lacks the “please press one for . . . “ When you call Micro Plating during business hours, you don’t have to remember an extension or wait for a prompting - you will always talk to a real person, committed to customer service!
Micro Plating’s Quality Program meets the requirements of MIL-I-45208. The Quality Program’s foundation begins with the written Quality Manual and Process Manual. These documents incorporate Micro Plating’s quality philosophy of focusing on problem prevention rather than problem detection.

At time of receipt all orders undergo a receiving inspection. Before processing begins, written instructions are generated for each part from our integrated software package.
Micro Plating doesn’t have employees - it has J.I.T. trained customer service representatives committed to total customer satisfaction. Our staff relies on their average of 20 years of plating experience to apply our coatings by barrel, rack, or selective plating in the most cost-effective way possible.

With an Environmental Policy dedicated to waste minimization and recycling, we are happy to report full compliance with all applicable State and Federal regulations.
All parts undergo a rigorous final inspection. Inspectors employ a battery of precision microscopes and coating thickness testers to verify coating adhesion and thickness. Parts passing these tests must also pass any required lab tests before being certified and released to the shipping department.
With its recent purchase of a polarograph for its chemistry lab, Micro Plating has given its full-time chemist a level of in-house analytical capabilities unmatched by any plating shop in the country. Bath constituents present in the parts-per-million range can now be detected down to the parts-per-billion range!
The importance of handling and packaging is not underestimated by anyone at Micro Plating. A critical component may be rendered useless by a minor scratch or ding. Meeting the critical demands of our aerospace, automotive, pharmaceutical, and tool and die customers are a never-ending challenge.
